Last updated: 2 November 2026
These general terms govern the distance sale of the products offered on artappeti.com, pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (the “Consumer Code”) and Legislative Decree 70/2003 on electronic commerce. By placing an order you declare that you have read and accepted them.

2. Products
Products are described as accurately as possible. As many items are handmade, antique or semi-antique rugs, small variations in colour, size and design compared with the photographs are a natural feature of the product. Images may differ slightly from the original due to screen settings. Each unique piece is available while stocks last.
3. Prices
All prices are expressed in euro. The seller operates under the Italian flat-rate scheme (“regime forfettario”) and therefore, pursuant to Art. 1, paragraphs 54 to 89, of Law no. 190/2014, the amounts are not subject to VAT. The price shown is thus the final price payable by the customer. Shipping within Italy is free. For international shipments, shipping costs and any other additional charges are clearly indicated in the cart and in the order summary before you confirm the purchase.
4. Order and conclusion of the contract
To purchase, add the products to the cart, enter the requested details, choose the payment method and confirm by clicking the order button, which entails an obligation to pay. Before confirming you can check and correct the data entered. The contract is concluded when you receive our order-confirmation email. We reserve the right not to accept an order if the product is unavailable: in that case we will inform you promptly and refund any sums already paid.
5. Payment
The following payment methods are accepted: credit/debit card (via Stripe), Link, bank transfer and cash on delivery, as available at the time of the order. For bank transfers, the order is processed upon receipt of payment.
6. Delivery
Products are shipped to the address indicated in the order.
Shipments within Italy: free.
International shipments: chargeable. The cost varies according to the destination country and the characteristics of the order (e.g. size, weight and value of the rugs) and is always clearly indicated before you confirm the purchase. Any duties, taxes or customs charges applied in the destination country outside the European Union, if not shown in the order summary, are borne by the recipient.
Delivery times are indicated in the order summary; unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place within 30 days of conclusion of the contract (Art. 61 Consumer Code). Collection at our shop in Milan is possible by arrangement. On delivery, please check that the packaging is intact and report any damage to the courier.
7. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days of the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, acquired physical possession of the goods (Art. 52 et seq. Consumer Code).
To exercise withdrawal you must inform us of your decision by an explicit statement (for example an email to info@artappeti.com or a letter to the address above). You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send the communication before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of withdrawal. We will refund all payments received, including the initial delivery costs (except for the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your decision. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used, unless otherwise agreed, at no cost to you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have supplied proof of having sent them back.
You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying your withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by you, except where the applicable law provides otherwise. You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Exclusions. The right of withdrawal does not apply, in the cases set out in Art. 59 of the Consumer Code, to goods made to measure or clearly personalised (for example rugs made specifically to the customer’s specifications), nor to washing, repair and restoration services fully performed with your express agreement.
